ECP Foundation Repair Products:

Helical Piers

Earth Contact Products’ helical piers come with a lot of advantages! They can be installed year-round, have a minimal installation footprint, and require no heavy machinery.

One of the greatest benefits, however, is the certainty they provide. You can trust in the quality of these American-made steel products, and the installation process allows you to easily calculate when the piers have reached a depth at which they can support the weight of the structure.

They also offer adaptability. If the soil conditions you encounter weren’t what you were expecting, the piers can be easily “unscrewed” to swap out the helical plates, add more, or switch to a different-strength helical pier entirely without causing significant delays to your project.

ECP’s helical piers come in both square and round shafted varieties. They have torque ratings ranging from 5,500 to 13,000 foot-pounds and maximum capacities ranging from 60,000 pounds to 120,000 pounds.

Push Piers

ECP was built upon its steel piering system, and our push piers are still designed to provide strength and durability while lifting and supporting failing foundations.

The pier is sunk down to a load-bearing stratum of soil or bedrock and then load-tested to ensure the system has more than enough capacity to support the building.

It requires only portable hydraulic equipment to install and provides a strong solution to foundation problems — literally strong as the maximum capacity on ECP’s steel piers ranges up to almost 50 tons.

Helical Torque Anchors

When building on unstable soil, a builder faces a crucial choice. They can ignore the issue or address it before construction even begins. The best builders opt to fix the problem by calling a foundation repair contractor to install a piering system that ensures the building’s stability.

This is where ECP’s Helical Torque Anchor system comes in. These anchors, designed to “screw” into the ground, are installed at intervals between the footing forms and tied into the steel grid work before the concrete is poured. This approach provides the stability of piering from day one.
