Pavement Stabilization for Highways, Bridge Approaches & Roadways
Roadways and transportation infrastructure are constantly subjected to traffic loading, vibration, moisture intrusion, and soil movement. Over time, these forces can create voids beneath pavement and approach slabs, leading to settlement, cracking, and uneven transitions that affect ride quality and safety.
PolyPier® systems are used to stabilize and lift settled pavement by injecting expanding polyurethane material beneath the surface. The material fills subsurface voids, densifies supporting soils, and restores slab alignment without removing the roadway section.
When properly installed, stabilization helps improve driving conditions, reduce maintenance frequency, and extend the service life of transportation surfaces.
