Find quick answers to common questions about ECP Underpinning Brackets.
ECP underpinning brackets connect existing foundations to helical piles, transferring structural loads to stable soils below the foundation. They are commonly used for foundation stabilization, settlement correction, and structural support.
The bracket is installed against the existing foundation and connected to a helical pile. Once the pile reaches the required bearing capacity, the bracket transfers the building load from the foundation to the pile.
ECP offers multiple bracket configurations to accommodate different foundation conditions, load requirements, and installation constraints. The Standard Duty Utility, Low Profile Utility, and Large Utility brackets are designed for different applications and site conditions.
The Standard Duty Utility bracket is designed for common residential and light commercial applications. The Low Profile Utility bracket is suited for projects with limited excavation or clearance, while the Large Utility bracket is designed for applications requiring greater capacity or a larger bearing area.
The Standard Duty Utility bracket provides up to 4 inches of lift capacity, depending on project conditions and the installation requirements.
Yes. ECP offers different bracket configurations to accommodate varying site conditions, including applications where excavation space or clearance is limited.
