Featured Job: Priest Movie Theater Saved in Florida
Foundation Professionals of Florida Help Save Historical Theater

David Brown and the Foundation Professionals of Florida team were contracted to work on a historical building in High Springs, Florida. Priest Movie Theater is the oldest operating theater in Florida. The building was experiencing settlement at one of the corners. If you watch the video below, you will see that they found an old Model 8 buried beneath the building in that corner!
The theater was built in 1910. A few years ago, the theater needed to go digital, but before that project could even be considered, the foundation issue for the building had to be investigated. If the building could not be saved, there was no point in upgrading the theater to digital.
Historical Building Saved -Commercial Foundation Repairs with No Interruption
